This is Halloween, this is Halloween, la la la...

Happy Halloween everyone!!! Today is the greatest day of the year and I wanted to take some time to wish you all the best in your candy seeking (or booze drinking depending on who is reading this) endeavors.

As I type, I sit here dressed as Hannah Montana…blonde wig, tacky jewelry and all. Turns out that when everyone else said they would dress up, they kind of meant they would throw on a Halloween T-shirt and some cat ears. No matter, I am Hannah Montana and I get the best of both worlds!!! Tonight I will be a FLDS woman with a large group of girls. Pictures of both costumes are to follow.

For now, here is a picture of the pumpkin I carved the other night:

It isn't quite as impressive as the Prince pumpkin my fellow carver Kristjan did, but it will do considering I don't even have a porch to put it on.

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!!!!

Update: a woman in my office just called me Paris Hilton. I am furious.

Update #2: my boss told me I should keep the dark hair.

This is just a friendly reminder for all you BYU fans out there:

And to all you amazing Ute fans: Let's keep cheering the boys on towards victory! We want another 2004 season biotches!! I know Uncle Rhemus and I would very much enjoy another trip to the Fiesta Bowl.

Happy Birthday!

My heterosexual life partner turned 24 this month. She is getting pretty old, but her haggard exterior makes her look just a little older that you would expect. JK HAGS Sars! We threw her a surprise birthday party and it went off without a hitch! She didn't suspect a thing and a good time was had by all.

Here is the Birthday girl and Charlie girl (guess which one is Sara...).

Everything at the party was glutard friendly because Sara has some pretty amazing friends who love her lots and lots. Check out that 7 layer dip Laura made. We were all very proud of her for following a recipe that required more than just adding water.

Here are the gluten free cupcakes I slaved away to make. They tasted just like regular cupcakes! At least that is what I told people I wanted to hear.

Happy birthday you big skank!! I hope to see you age 5 months before me for many years to come! I love you!!

Mrs. Louie Sakoda

Can we just take a moment to talk about the incredible U of U vs. Oregon State game last night? As most of you know, I love me the football. I have been going to the U games with my G-pa for as long as I can remember and I can honestly say this was possibly one of the best games I have witnessed in my 23 years on this earth. I know most of you were there or watched it or whatever, but I just need to recap for my own personal satisfaction…

I am a die hard U fan but I have to admit that I took my seat and was prepared to admit defeat when Oregon State got the touchdown in the last 2 minutes and 11 seconds of the game. Our QB (and O-line in general) had not been having a stellar game, especially in the second half, and I figured it was all over. I had screamed and hollered all I could but it seemed as though my efforts to cheer were futile. Suddenly, out of no where B.J. and the boys managed to pull out a play that took it to the end zone. Really??? Where did that come from and where has it been the whole game? I could not believe my eyes! But could they actually get the two-point conversion to tie up the game? and if we did tie it up, then what? Then, in what can only be explained as an act of God there was pass interference called on the first failed play and we got a second chance at the two-point conversion! A second chance that was successful and tied up the game!! Miraculously, the glorious Utah defense held Oregon State to a 4-yard rush and obtained the ball once again. As you can imagine, Uncle Rhemus and I (along with pretty much everyone in the stadium) were screaming and jumping like you could not believe. After running the clock down to 1 second(1 second people!!) and nearly giving everyone in the stadium an aneurysm- the man, the legend: Louie Sakoda entered the game to kick a beautiful field goal and by doing so took the Utes to 6-0!!!! My throat still hurts from yelling and I could not get to sleep from all the adrenaline pumping through my veins.

I would like to take this time to officially offer my hand in marriage to Louie Sakoda. I was already pretty sure I would marry you but after last night there is no doubt in my mind. I know you probably have plenty of chicks to pick from, and I am sure some of them are pretty skanky, but I am pretty freaking cool and I know how to bake really well. I will keep my anger towards Brian “which way should I throw the ball?” Johnson to a minimum. I don’t want to sour such a joyous event with my bitterness about his reaction time.

P.S. Maybe BYU isn’t the only team that the Lord blesses Austin Collie. Suck on that!

Do they have rehab for Ebay addicts?

I have developed a serious problem everyone; one that can no longer be ignored: I can't seem stop buying stuff on Ebay!!! This is all Jenny's fault. She got some cute shoes so I started poking around... Now here I sit, 15 purchases and only 1 sale later. The great deals Ebay has to offer coupled with my boredom has turned into a lethal (to my bank account) addiction. Ebay is winning!

I need help. This blog is a desperate cry for attention. If anyone knows how to stop this madness please tell me how (if you try to tell me to delete my Ebay account, expect an expletive-laden rant directed your way). In the mean time, here are some of my fabulous purchases:

A girl needs to look cute on the Sabbath.

It is fall. I need hoodies to stay warm.

Photobucket
Sassy shoes to go with the adorable dress of course.

Photobucket
A very good movie and I only paid $1.99!

Ok, there is really no real rationalization for this bag other than it is really cute.
